Five types of jobs for people with training in psychology: *Biological Psychologists explore the links between the brain and the mind. *Cognitive Psychologists experiment with how people perceive, think, and solve problems. *Developmental Psychologists study our changing abilities from birth to death. *Personality Psychologists investigate our persistent traits. *Social Psychologists study how we view and affect each other. 2. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that affects mood, hunger, sleep, and arousal. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that enables muscle action, learning, and memory. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that influences movement, learning, attention, and emotion. 3. The 6 Gestalt principles are: * Grouping is placing similar stimuli together. *Proximity is grouping nearby stimuli together. *Similarity is grouping figures that are alike together. *Continuity is perceiving smooth, continuous patterns rather than discontinuous ones. * Connectedness is grouping figures together because they are uniformed and linked. * Closure is filling in gaps to create and complete whole objects.
