EXECUTIVE SUMMERY.Tesla Motors Inc is regarding as one of the biggest players and most successful company withregards to manufacture of non-Internal Combustion Engine motor vehicles which are dominatedby electric cars. This report will expound more on the introduction of the company, keyconstituents of strategic management of Tesla Inc which shall take care of the businessenvironment, company objectives among others.INTRODUCTION.Most of the times starting a business is considered to be quit involving of a task, but in realsense, the stage which has a lot of weight is where business has been formed and is in operation [CITATION Sai20 \l 1033 ]. At this point there is need to come up with appropriate strategies thatwill foster survival of the company in a foreseeable future [ CITATION Jor20 \l 1033 ]. This is inline with the fact that technological faction of business environment is fast growing andcompetitors are fast utilizing the opportunities that come forth with such advancements intechnology.This calls for businesses to actively engage in strategic management which refers tomanagement of company resources so as to realize it goals through analyzing its objectives,internal environment, competitors, strategy evaluation and commitment by management tooversee implementation of the strategies throughout the organization [ CITATION Wil20 \l1033 ].Automobile industry is considered to be one of those industries that are experiencing fast growthglobally [ CITATION Val20 \l 1033 ]. While introduction of electric cars is viewed as one of thecauses of such rapid growth, it is also argued that selling electric cars has been a major challengeto most companies in operating in automobile industry. With the domination of the industry withother brands such as Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Nissan, Tesla has found it relatively easyto outdo its competitors when it comes to sale of electric cars in the recent past [ CITATIONGer20 \l 1033 ].COMPANYTesla Inc was founded in the year two thousand and three, 2003 and has its headquarters in PaloAlto which is located in California. There was a group of engineers who hailed from SiliconValley. They had a conviction that electric vehicles could have very high demand and thus aviable diversification for those who could give their production a consideration. It was out of this
that they went ahead and discovered electric cars. To their anticipation, the said cars drew a lot ofdemand from households and companies throughout the years two thousand and eight, (2008).
