ECE425 Fall 2006 Homework Set 10 Your solutions to this problems are due in the ECE425 hand-in box at 5:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006. The hand-in box is located outside the south entrance to Phillips Hall 219 (usual place) and we use the upper right hand box. No late homework will be accepted without an official university excuse. Please work on the problem well in advance of the due date as we fully expect you may have questions and/or need suggestions. Unformatted text preview: This .mat file contains two unknown signals, ulect and uhw. The ulect is the signal that is the basis of the lecture example, producing pages 22-28 of the lecture note scans. So it is not really unknown, and you can use it as a test file. The signal uhw is the one you should run for this HW. You should be able to produce figures corresponding to pages 22-28 for this. Like ulect, it is 6 th order. Note that you will need to produce Matlab code to do the Prony problem and to do the LPC (least squares) analysis....
