PHS 3510 – General Pathology and Clinical Lab Data Instructor:   Dr. D. Hardej Office:        St. Albert’s Hall Rm 334C Phone:   (718) 990-6370 Email:    [email protected] Office hours: Course Description:   This course will introduce students to the basic concepts of disease development and the  mechanisms involved in disease progression.  Topics of study will include cell injury,  degeneration and repair, inflammation, as well as disturbances of hemodynamics,  neoplasia, and environmental and nutritional pathology.  Laboratory methods utilized for  detection of disease states will also be discussed.
