The Jefferson Bible, excerpts cut from several different bibles with a razor blade and thenpieced together by Thomas Jefferson, is something that only recently came to my attention. Jefferson certainly proved he had no lack of self-confidence to take this monumental task on. He did not rebuke the entire story, just portions of it, such as the resurrection and other miracles, which Jefferson believed were nothing more than entertaining stories created by the men writing them.
