September 19, 2012 “The Multiattribute problem” Most of our choices have many options we care about and a single attribute may not perform best on all attributes /dimensions Try to get as far from the origin as possible, be as better off on many levels as possible A given option may not be best on all dimensions, use charts to illustrate various dimensions and their limits Likely to get in a tradeoff : decide to pick one option over another because we give priority to one dimension over the other No option is better than the others in entirety but is merely better in one dimension Could have something that would be nice to have and ideal, but don’t have resources to accomplish it (infeasible because it’s not in the possibility set) Can divide options on chart into quadrants – have dominant (northeast quad) and dominated (southwest quadrant) Dominated quadrant can be crossed off easily as well as the infeasible options, leaves options that are better in some dimension than others and has reduced possible options

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
