Leadership reflectionA leader is anyone who takes responsibility in leading and commanding an organization. Thereare so many ways of defining leadership depending on what criteria it is being applied to. It issaid that a leader is one that everyone pays attention to. This would mean a leader would be thedominant speaker and make final decisions. My best response to leadership activities willcomprise highlighting qualities of a leader, practices for a successful company leader in dealingwith the team, and the most effective leadership activities that I can employ to improve my teamefficiency. It is clear from the observations that I have made are as follows:A true leader has to be responsible for everything that may cause effects on a company's well-being and be self-responsible. He/she has not to blame anyone but finds a true solution that bestfits everyone's needs; every leader must have the sense to make him/her understood throughbeing concise and clear in all communications made. A leader has to be listening and read bodylanguage with advanced writing skills to convey ideas and objectives; it is also to this effect thata transparent and honest leader will attract followers. All employed under such leaders will feelworking under a fair boss who will represent their best interests; an exceptional leader controlstheir emotions and is self-aware in understanding their environment better by being good topeople; when advanced creativity is added proactively's growth will be consistent. Thesecreativity skills may involve analytical skills, critical thinking, and being innovative. A goodleader should first develop good and clear visions and be committed to achieving its set goalsand standards. Company problems are faced frequently. Great leaders not only ignore or deny buthave to treat them as normality in daily operations. For this reason, he has to possess problem-solving skills that help keep company struggles. For employers to follow a leader in all directions, it is vivid in my mind that I have to win theirtrust by allowing them to constantly test their ideas and embrace failure instead of punishmentsand encourage an environment that will promote creativity; enable all employees to havefreedom in their work; always have a productive communication with my employees by holdingno secrets. I have observed that a good leader has to apply changes that will keep thecompany/organization keep with current practices within the standards that will comply with theset missions and lastly provide tools that will make employees save my business operations bysaving time spent and money thus making them feel empowered.Leadership activities that I may have obtained from the here are that I would organize a debatecompetition to address leadership topics with the winning team rewarded. From my innerunderstanding, leadership is the design and management of actions that direct individual efforts
