Interviews on the Assessment Process 2. How do you assess the needs of your community? How often do you conduct assessments? A community assessment enables collaborative partners to gather information about the strengths, concerns, and conditions of children, families, and the community. The needs of community can be assessed by analyzing demographics, health status and pattern of health care. With the help of assessment, we can identify the populations to be served, the communities which are most in needs and the communities that can be reached and influenced [Dignan MB, Carr PA]. For this purpose, a primary data can be collected or secondary data can be retrieved from the sources such as national and local data sources can be utilized [Marshall JG, 1997]. A community assessment answers the questions such as: 1. What will be the target population? 2. What are the health information needs of that community? 3. What are the problems with highest priorities?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
