Self Identity- late childhood/early adolescence Persona -has personal motives and beliefs about the world o Oral History - cultural history - Allow us to create order - Structure story and common threads that we have - Enables others to see from your perspective - Connect with an audience - Shows values - Reinforces self worth - Construct our narrative self - Construct personal identity - Better our understanding of who we are
