Clustered Organization- spaces groups by proximity or the sharing of a common visual  trait or relationship Grid Organization- Spaces organized within the field of a structural or other three  dimensional grid. Line - the extension of a point…in theory line has only one dimension, but in practice lines  can be thick or thin Can define shape Can be used to emphasize or deemphasize shape Direction of the line is going to define expressions   Types of Lines Vertical line implies resistance to gravity, make It formal and bring your  eyes up Horizontal line repeats the most dominant line of the landscape, create  peaceful feeling, more relaxing, more restful, informality
