NRS 413V Week 3 DQ 1: The four principles, especially in the context of bioethics in the United States, has often been critiqued for raising the principle of autonomy to the highest place, such that it trumps all other principles or values. How would you rank the importance of each of the four principles? How do you believe they would be ordered in the context of the Christian biblical narrative? Refer to the topic study materials in your response. In today’s ethical community, there are four foundational aspects considered when making decisions with moral significance: -Respect for autonomy: Validates independence for decision making, -Beneficence: Risk versus benefit is considered, -Nonmaleficence: No abuse or disservice done, and -Justice: Equality and fairness in decision making process and conclusion (Hoehner, 2020). All aspects work cohesively to facilitate the best possible ethic decision. However, if I had to rank them in order of importance from greatest to least, I would as noted below with my rationale.
