College Student Journal, 46(3), 642-652 Retrieved from EBSCOHOST. This is a small study done by the University of Southern Mississippi. This article suggests that more likely than not students who received a high GPA in high school was more likely to succeed in college. The study states that students who scored high on their SAT and ACTs were more likely to attend and have a similar GPA in college; the study also suggests that a student’s GPA in high school is not a good predictor for graduation.
