3.) Why are fossils only found in sedimentary rocks? Has to do with the way sedimentary rocks form. Sedimentary rocks form by making layers from particles that have been transported and settled to the bottom. It makes it easy for a dinosaur to lie down (to die) and eventually get covered up by sediments. 4.) Why can we only date igneous rocks?
