Have a clear, mutually agreed upon & written action plan. Select a “Go-to” person should issues or unexpected problems arise. 2.Develop responsibilities. Agree on who is responsible for what and by when and in what form. 3.Stay on track. Know and adhere to the timeline. Periodically check that you are appropriately addressing the problem or issue initially defined. 4.Commuicate clearly and often. Hold meetings allowing sufficient time to discuss ideas. Don’t be absent or vague. Confirm receipt of messages and provide concurrence or another suggestion. When time permits then issue meeting notes. 5.Get team input. Get input, feedback and agreement from all team members at each critical step & most especially prior to the final submission or presentation.
