Calculate his alveolar ventilation before and after he saw the mouse: 4 pts V A = (V T – V D ) x f = 600 x 13 = 7.8 L/min and V A = 600 x 18 = 10.8 L/min C. How will his alveolar PO2 and PCO2 change after he saw the mouse (increase, decrease)? 2 pts P A O 2 will increase, P A CO 2 will decrease 2.
