Jade Martin RE 104 December 11, 2007 Ruth: The Faithful Daughter-In-Law The book of Ruth conveys a story about the loyalty and kindness of Ruth, the daughter-in-law of Naomi. It is considered one of the best-loved works of biblical literature, and is notable for its simplicity and directness (Bandstra, 460).
