Corbin Dean Unit 9 Thought Questions 1.) Two dimensions of diversity: a. Primary i. Gender – Men might belittle women and make them feel inferior and women might call men idiots or make them feel dumb. ii. Mental / physical abilities – Someone who is mentally challenged in the workplace might get treated differently then people who are not iii. Race – Caucasians could very well feel that they are superior to any other race, especially in the workforce. iv. Ethnic heritage – Someone who does not understand another man’s culture and ethnicity could insult that man and cause major issues within the business. v. Sexual orientation – very similar to the ethnic background, to someone who is straight might insult someone who I not because they do not fully understand that person. vi. Age – very common issue with age is that someone who is older feels that they are automatically superior to someone who is younger, even if that person is more intelligent, or has been in the workforce for a while as well.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
