LATIN 2 YR (FL4H) \ February 28, 2011 Period 7 Praescriptum: Legete Graffiti from Ancient Inns pg 19 Cūnctī in caupōnam intrāvērunt. All entered the inn. “Nōnne cēnāre vultis?” inquit caupō. “Surely you all wish to eat?” says the innkeeper. “Servī meī bonam cēnam vōbīs statim parāre possunt.” “My servants are prepared to cook a good dinner for you immediately.” “Ego et Cornēlia hīc cēnāre nōn possumus,” inquit Aurēlia. “Dūc nōs statim ad cubiculum nostrum.” “Cornelia and I are not able to dine here,” said Aurelia. “Take us immediately toward our room.” Servōs caupō statim iussit cēnam Cornēliō et Marcō et Sextō parāre. The innkeeper immediately ordered his servants to prepare dinner for Cornelius, Marcus and Sextus. Ipse Aurēliam et Cornēliam ad cubiculum dūxit. Aurelia and Cornelia lead themselves towards their room. Aurēlia, ubi alterum duōrum lectōrum vīdit,gemuit.
