Sparta and Athens were two city states in Greece. While Sparta was a(n) Oligarchy Athens was a Democracy. Athens were more on the intellectual side because of their temples, arts, and theatres. Sparta, on the other hand, was more of the military side because of their way of life. They were so much about having soldiers, that they had boys train to be a Spartan at the age of 7.
