He thought that morality was lost and because of this people in the war acted with such inhumane brutality and cruelty. Hemmingway wrote In Another Country about a soldier healing from a wound in Italy while serving overseas. Hemming way utilizes a blunt and raw tone to get his thoughts across. Hemmingway's use of imagery also helps create a dark and dreadful enviroment to better convey the realities of the war.
