Dominus Iesus and Karl Rahner Throughout Karl Rahner’s writings in The Theological Investigations , he explains his belief and idea of the anonymous Christian. Anonymous Christian, defined as people who do not profess the Christian faith but still justified by the grace of God, is the point he touches on most. This idea is quite controversial. Rahner believes also that there is no other way to achieve salvation besides Christianity. He says that through no other god will salvation be reached. According to Rahner’s terms, everyone can be considered an anonymous Christian He prefers the term to be used focusing on those who have accepted their freedom through faith but do not associate themselves with a church or identify as specifically a Christian. I think Rahner’s views are quite interesting, but I do not believe them. This is mostly based on my personal beliefs.
