Training programs for staff have six phases working in tandem to guarantee effective professional healthcare workers' transformation. Many factors are involved in the design and implementation of an effective program for healthcare workers. In this short essay, I will elaborate on the six fundamental factors: what, who, when, how, why, and where. Asking the question 'what?' regarding a training program evokes interest in the training program's theme. There is a likelihood of work and education to happen concurrently. Therefore, it is imperative to plan. Planning helps to apportion time and resources appropriately. Also, it is essential to create priorities. It is much like having a Likert scale of the tasks based on their importance. Each task should be accorded a certain amount of weight or gravity, based on its importance on the whole process and the outcome of the training program. Training programs are supposed to occasion particular impacts on the healthcare organization.
