Procedure relies on having information only known to police and surviving victims & criminal c. Create a set of multiple-choice questions based on the information d. Ask question – provide & ask to respond to each e. Assumes: i. For innocent all options are equally likely ii. For criminal the correct answer will cause anxiety/orienting response f. The more questions where the strongest response is to the right answer, the greater the chance of suspect being guilty/lower probability due to chance g. Problems: i.
