Cognitive Deal with higher order mental processes o Memory processes, language processes, problem solving, reasoning o Specific Developmental Growth/ change over the course of a life Womb to tomb <- whole life span Personality, social, memory, language development Developmental psychologists focuses on cognitive development, personality development o Focuses on infancy or childhood, or teenage (adolescence), or adulthood. o Focuses on humans and non humans Social Psych Always focuses on the individual How groups affect the individual? Peer Pressure- What makes people conform to others. How advertising influences an individual? How an individual is affected by are societies gender role.
