Justin Bryant Acting 1 M/W October 29, 2007 Stop Kiss After attending a performance of Stop Kiss, by Dianna Son, I was very impressed with the overall quality of the production. The play was very well cast in my opinion, reflecting a healthy mix of personalities that fit very well into their roles. Aside from the performances by the actors, I was also very amazed by the behind the scenes work with regard to lighting and the overall set up of the stage. The personalities of both Sarah and Callie were both very visible throughout the play. Because of this it was necessary to fill the respective roles with actors that were capable of matching their quirky and unique personalities. The actors that were cast in those roles did a very adequate job in that respect, giving the viewer a glimpse into their world, and affording us a firsthand view of the intricacies that surrounded a new and unchartered experience for them both. While Callie and Sarah were both very energetic,
