Capitalism Capitalism is the distribution of privately own company or industries in the free market. Many would argue that capitalism is bad and others would argue that capitalism is good. Karl Marx, a political philosopher, believes that capitalism is evil and that it only worsens class struggle. Capitalism also sparks many problems in European countries, like Russia, which led them to a revolution. Capitalism was mostly favored by the wealthy and hated by the common people. Karl Marx was not a wealthy man nor did the people favor him in his time, because his beliefs were different from other scholars. Marx was born into a middle class family, but later lived in a smallest cheapest apartment complex. He was smart, and a powerful leader and he was also vain, although he was smart he was also a drunk and was a very cynical person. He worked long hours, and believes that we work in order to survive. He hated capitalism because he believes that it made the poor even poorer and the richer even wealthier. And his favorite motto was to have doubts about everything.
