Thecourse adopts an applied approach and emphasizes both professional and Olympic sport, focusing on the practical applicationof theory. Topics may include sport agents, global sporting events, financing, marketing sport facilities, ambush marketing,events sponsorship, and anti-doping.For the Winter 2021 term, the course will be focused on the future of global sportmarketing, especially post-Covid-19.In particular, a series of industry interviews will be the cornerstone of the course content,and available via the course site.COURSE MANAGEMENT:Every effort will be made to manage the course as stated.However, adjustments may be necessary at the discretion of theinstructor.If so, students will be advised and alterations discussed in the class prior to implementation.
