Melissa Wilkerson ENC1102 Sherry Lohmeyer December 4, 2007 Twists and Turns: My life in ENC1102 Going through time, someone will always ask, “What have you done for the past couple of months?” My answer for this question is simple, “I’ve been learning and writing towards being a smarter well educated human being, what about you?” For the past four months I have been slaving away over a hot laptop, cranking out papers about everything from one magazine ad to Disney World. Because of all of this writing, I have found out several things about myself. I understand so much more about the mechanics of writing and how I learn. I have also learned how to manage my time more wisely. My writing has changed tremendously because of all of these variables and for the better in my opinion. In fact, when I first walked into my ENC1102 class on the first day of my second semester at TCC, I knew that this would be a learning experience with or without the help of my teacher! I could already tell from our diverse class I would learn things that would not only be used in school but also in life. The first paper we had to write, how advertisements are presented, helped me
