We will just play it by ear to see what progress we make. All material in those chapters is fair game for inclusion on the exam. However, I observe the following principles:•Analytical material: I will only include technical stuff on the exam if you have been exposed to practice problems of a similar type. The handouts and the study guide are good sources of these.•Definitions, factual material: I will draw upon any of this material, as this is the type of thing you can pick up through the readings. •substitutes, complements•normal and inferior goods•relative change vs. absolute change•elasticities: demand, income, cross-price, supply•
