Economics 252 Jim Vincent Principles of Microeconomics Spring 2008 Exam 1 Topic Areas Exam 2 is on April 10 (note the rescheduling), and will cover material from Chapters 6, 9, 10, and  some of 11.  We will just play it by ear to see what progress we make.  All material in those chapters  is fair game for inclusion on the exam.  However, I observe the following principles: Analytical material: I will only include technical stuff on the exam if you have been exposed  to practice problems of a similar type.  The handouts and the study guide are good sources of  these. Definitions, factual material: I will draw upon any of this material, as this is the type of  thing you can pick up through the readings.  substitutes, complements normal and inferior goods relative change vs. absolute change elasticities: demand, income, cross-price, supply
