The piece's current location is the Cleveland Museum of Art. The medium is oil on fabric and it is 2D and can be only viewed from one side. The piece's size is 61.6 cm x 45.7 cm. Van Gogh used intense colors and heavy brush strokes to convey his emotion through his piece. The work's subject is the beautiful and at times gloomy scenery surrounding Van Gogh almost portraying his feelings about life in the same way, beautiful but at times gloomy.
