Subtraction- It's a sculpture that begins for usually a large block of something, usually wood or stone. And you subtract or cut away the unwanted material to make the sculpture. Construction- Construction is when you take a raw material and add element by element until you reach the finishing point. The materials used are usually plastics, metals, clay, resins or clay. Substitution- any material transformable from a molten or fluid that can be molded or cast into a sculpture. Manipulation-also called modeling involves artists shaping materials such as clay, wax or plaster by the skilled use of hands. Full round- sculptural works that explore full three dimensionality and intend viewing from any angle.
