Unformatted text preview: fascinating to see a prop start from a piece of wood to a functional prop. The second concept I learned was that there are a lot of aspects involved with making a play successful. I just that you needed actors and a stage, but that is not the case. I learned that lighting, sound, scene shop, paint shop, costume designers, and many more are all very important to make a play successful. Especially after watching Spring Awakening, I realized that lighting and sound are very important because they tell the audience how they should feel during certain scenes. Now that I have worked in paint shop I appreciate the production much more. Overall, I thought it was a great decision to join the paint crew and learn more about how a production is set up. The whole process is very interesting and I really enjoyed being a small part of the success of the production....
