My self-concept includes the roles of A mother of two, a daughter, a friend, a wellness competitor, a mentor, a student never a master, a professional, business savvy and an only child and a spiritual woman.I would describe myself as an alpha, ambivert, bold, funny, talented, disciplined, hardworking, adventurous , private, laid back, extravagance, logical,Overtime I’ve learned a lot about myself through social comparisons sometimes it positively affects my self-esteem and other times it affects me in a negative way we learn about our self-concept through social comparison as we do this by comparing ourselves to other when I was growing up I was always compared to my mother since I was the only child I was compared to her because I had no one else other than her however I was much more assertive I had very high self-esteem and at a very young age I learned that I can do everything alone since I was the only child I’ve always been resilient. Overtime my self-esteem increased but it took a long time to get over feelings of inadequacy
