People who frequently dine at fast food restaurants are the targets of this article, especially those who are obese from the result of this behavior. McDonald’s is allegedly blamed to have not taken the responsibility of warning its customers of the dangers of its products. The article refers to specific legal cases to point the waves of litigation that may very well sway the cultural opinion of fast food. For example, the legal cases which contributed to this article are “a group of overweight children” from New York City who filed a class-action lawsuit seeking compensation for their obesity, the case of Pelman v. McDonalds and the plaintiffs who quoted that McDonalds “had engaged in deceptive advertising, sales and promotion; produced food that was unreasonably unsafe; and failed to warn consumers of the dangers of its products”, and
