ELHS Uniform Proposal 2 ELHS Uniform Proposal The 2021 Edward Little High School men’s soccer team is in dire need of new home and away uniforms. The uniforms that the team is using are nearly eight years old, worn out, the style is boring, and the colors do not look as bright or sharp as they once were. The team deserves a fresh new look that will give the players confidence and pride to represent Edward Little when they don their uniforms at home and away games. To obtain the new uniforms the school will need to raise an amount of $1,600 which is very attainable through effective fundraising. The following pages contain a solid proposal to reach the goal of $1,600 through support of the local community. Edward Little has been kindly granted the use of the local fire department’s picnic grove for free during our event. The picnic grove is a perfect setting for our fundraising event as it is easily accessible, provides plenty of space for up to 200 guests, and is a great setting for a family barbeque fundraiser. After reaching out to the community several local businesses have offered to donate their services free of cost with all proceeds going towards the soccer team which really can make this event very successful in reaching our goal. Alabama’s BBQ agreed to provide two hours of catering in which attendees can exchange a purchased food ticket, $15 for a BBQ plate of chicken, Boston pork butt, or brisket (choice of two) including sides and a water or soda. Roopers Beverage and Redemption will be on hand to provide bottled waters $2/bottle, canned sodas $1/can, four kegs of two different kinds of beer $5/cup, and 5 gallons each of premixed margarita and whiskey/coke $8/cup. The team was also able to acquire a gifts from Marden’s and Rainbow Bicycle to raffle off at $5, $15, and $50 dollars a ticket. A new Sony 4K HDTV and Cannondale mountain bike will be raffled at $50/ticket. Four Ninja air fryers and four Bose SoundTouch speakers will be raffled at $15 a ticket. Lastly, 10 Hydro Flask canteens will be raffled at $5 a ticket. All gifts are currently held at the school and will be transported via the
ELHS Uniform Proposal 3 volunteer assigned to the raffle contest. Food tickets will be available for purchase starting a month prior to the event until a week before the event or sold out. For all transactions cash will be accepted, PayPal, as well as Venmo payments that are associated with the school’s athletic department account. The event is limited to 100 food tickets at request of the vendor, if all tickets sell out at $15 each that sets us up with $1,500 without even counting beverage or raffle sales. Our event will be heavily broadcasted on social media as well as flyers distributed around the city by our volunteers and the soccer team. There will be a volunteer in charge of managing an event page on Facebook as well as coordinating with the School’s public affairs member to
