Unformatted text preview: Tyler Russell Theatre Arts 110 MWF 11-11:50 The Mystery of Edwin Drood The Mystery of Edwin Drood was a very entertaining play. Even though I am not a fan of musicals, it impressed me a lot. I thought that it was weird how they introduced everyone in the play. It made it very confusing for me and others I was sitting with to tell if it was part of the play or not. They way that the audience got to decide what happened next towards the end of the play was a very interesting idea. It definitely kept the audience involved and active. It was a lot of fun to attend this play, and was a lot different then what I expected. I thought the script was pretty good, even though at times I could not understand what they were singing. It was still very easy to follow along the main points, and to see what was happening. The direction was also very good. I thought it was a very well directed play; it was a very flawless showing. Im sure it is hard to direct a play like this when you do not know what very flawless showing....
