Madelynn Scoppa Mrs. Forbes ENG 11 07 11/1/19 Cause and Effect “Never let the fear of striking out get in your way” (Babe Ruth) Playing sports to kids is a fun way for them to be active. This is also beneficial for kids in their later life and will help them strive more than kids that do not play sports. Due to children playing sports at such a young age it allows them to be more social, develop physical fitness in a way that is fun, and it also shows them that it is okay if you do not win everything. Developing good friendships is an important part of life, and playing sports helps kids develop these social skills. While playing sports it is a team effort, therefore one needs to know how to interact with the other teammates. It is also proven that if children have more friendship circles then it will help their communication skills, and these skills are used everywhere especially in future careers. For example, in high school I played sports every season, every year, and this helped me make tons of new friends. On the other hand, my sister did not play sports
