Tuesday November 13, 2007 Modern Human Orgins- Scientists take in the different information to determine 2 polar ends of what is going on… but their using the same information. Replacement Model (Out of Afrcia Hypothesis)- modern humans replaced all of the archaic forms of humans on earth, they evolved out of only one place, out of Africa and then the modern humans replaced the previous Chris Stringer(main priciple arcitect) Multiregional Evolution Hypothesis- all of those archaic groups of humans in the different parts of the wolrd, contributed to the gene pools of modern humans through extensive networks of gene flow. The neandertals, Chinese homo erectus and all the others all contributed to the flow thus all of us remain the same species. Milford Wolpoff( Main principal architect) Both models agree that Homo Erectus was the first to get out of Africa and spread out through the old world. Replacement Model- You get an isolated group of Homo Erectus that evolves into modern humans in Africa. Not too much different than modern humans except that
