What is Transcription Transcription is the process in which the information in DNA (Deoxyribonucleic  Acid) is converted into mRNA (Messenger Ribonucleic Acid). Transcription uses RNA polymerase, an enzyme that allows it to speed up the  process. This process (transcription) occurs in the nucleus of the cell.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
