Dinner- Zeppoli's Italian Restaurant Dinner #1- Zeppoli's Zeppoli's Italian Restaurant is located in Blacksburg, Virginia and has wine tastings and food pairings  about twice a month.  This week at Zeppoli's we did a House Wine Showdown.  We had five different  groups of wine (Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, and Group E) each consisting of two different  bottles of wine and we had to guess which one was the house wine.  We didn't see the bottles, didn't  know the names, we solely had to guess the house wine based on taste. Front view of Zeippoli's This photo shows the outside front view of Zeppoli's.  I had my first wine dinner experience with  some great friends in which we arrived at the restaurant at about 7:45 pm and the wine showdown  began at 8 pm. First came out all the food! I mean, they had TONS of food!!!!!!  Some of the dishes  were salad, capresse salad, two types of bread, ravioli (cheese and meat), sausage pasta, chicken  parmesan, and mozzarella sticks. Home made mozzarella sticks!

Just some of food we had...AMAZING!! After tasting all 10 wines this was our final list: Group A: Casarsa Pinot Grio and  Musarango Trattoria  Busa alla Torre Da Lele Lison Wine #1: Casarsa Pinot Grio Winery Review:  Crisp, Apple, Peach, Light-bodied come to mind when trying this wine from Venezie,  Italy - A consistent crowd-pleaser, this crisp, fruity wine has notes of peach and mineral with a juicy,  fruit-driver palate. An ideal pairing with lighter fare, and an ideal white for your next cocktail party! My Review:  This was the first wine that I tasted, it was Casara Pinot Grigo varietal wine from  Venezie, Italy.  Paired with chicken parm and I really enjoyed this wine.  It reminded me of a crisp

apple and had subtle hints of peach.  It had a lot of fruity flavors.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
