Recognizing An Object – illusory Contours Kanizsa Illusion We see an upward pointing white triangle in the picture above, even though there are no real lines making a triangle. The only real shapes are the 3 Pacmen. We typically perceive complete objects even when the figures are incomplete. Our perception of a shape depends upon the overall visual scene.
