What benefits would Brazil achieve if it were to improve its intellectual property protections even without gaining better access to the US ethanol market? Provide at least three benefits and rank them in the amount of improvement they will make to the citizens of Brazil. Explain your ranking First of all, improving the intellectual property protections would create more legal money in the economy. If the money used to buy the boot-legged products were used instead to buy the items legitimately, there would be a great boost in the Brazilian economy, which would improve their ability to profitably manufacture and produce all kinds of products. Education would be improved as well if they had better protection methods. With better education, Brazil would not be as depressed an economy as it is now. They would be able to better demand what they needed as country because they would be able to offer other countries more than what they presently can. Brazil would also have better relationships with other countries because countries will not have a great trust in a nation if they are always being stolen from. The reason I chose this order is because a nation must first correct their actions to benefit themselves first. They must first have more money before they can decide to do anything with the money.
