I am available from 8 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday and by appointment.
Students will be contacted a minimum of four times each semester via phone, text, or email.
This is a My Pace course.
Expectations
Use your dashboard to keep track of how many assignments to complete weekly.
You will be expected to act responsibly and to fulfill the following duties/roles as a student and
participant in this class:
● Log in on a daily basis to see what assignments you have due and when.
● Do not wait until the day an assignment is due to begin working on it. Plan your days
accordingly, as it will be very difficult to catch up if you fall behind.
● Look at your graded assignments. After you turn work in, I will make
comments/suggestions on the front page and within the assignment as I grade it.
● Check your BlueSky email and return messages EVERY DAY. This is a responsibility of all
BlueSky students, as it is the most efficient way for me to reach you. You go to school
online, so there is no reason not to read your emails everyday. You will miss critical
information if you don’t.

You must ask questions when you have them! Without face-to-face contact, it is difficult to
know if a student is struggling or confused unless you let me know. Always ask for help RIGHT
AWAY. Read all school and class announcements. Important messages are posted here so it’s
important that you read them everyday.
The student will be able to contact the teacher about questions during scheduled office hours
and/or by appointment. Any message received by the instructor will be responded to within 24
hours during the school week Monday-Friday.
Attendance Expectations
Students are expected to spend a minimum of 5 hours per week in Spanish in order to complete
all class work and assignments. Attendance is defined as continuous active engagement with
the learning process and making continuous progress in each course in which a student is
enrolled. Students are required to attend school every school day as defined by the BlueSky
school calendar. Attendance is measured by assignments submitted during the course of the
school week. At a minimum, a student must submit an average of 15 assignments during a 5 day
school week. For every three assignments students turn in, this will count as one day in
attendance for that week. Attendance will be taken after midnight of every SATURDAY
