CHARACTER APPEARANCE FLAWS ALLIES & ORGANIZATIONS Hassan Lyre was born into a wealthy noble family in the morning of a warm day in March, while not the most powerful or influential family they were still in the upper echelons of society. As such Hassan grew up trained with the mannerism, honor, and etiquette of someone born to a noble family, and he took pride in his exemplified behavior. He believed that it was the duty of those born to greatness to look after the common, weak, uneducated crowd that served under them. While he held no malice for the serfs and common folk below him, he truly believed his was their better, and that they should flock under him, so that he could lead them and protect them from their own unruly nature. As the elder son of the family he was expected to one day succeed his father into becoming the lord of the land in which his family ruled. However, his seemingly set in stone future one day took a rather abrupt twist, in the dead of night a large unruly mob gathered outside the residence. Breaking through the entrance, the hired guards struggled to keep them at bay, suddenly opening the door to his bedroom his parents collected him and fled towards a safer area of the estate. However, it soon became clear that the estate was doomed to fall, so the family fled, since they could not risk being noticed together; they were each assigned a soldier and they split to flee into the nearby villages under their rule. During the weeks spent in these villages, Hassan Soon, he learned how his parents ruled their territory. With famine and poverty consuming the village, and rumors of a criminal group given leeway to work in the settlement in exchange for gold, Hassan was shocked to his very core. This had to be some mistake, he was absolutely sure of it, as such when the chaos died down and his family reconviewed back into their damaged mansion Hassan confronted his father within his study. Surprisingly enough, his father confirmed the rumours without even turning away from his book.
