Plato-- Ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, who lived in 427-347 BC was a student of Socrates and a teacher of Aristotle. he was born into an aristocratic Athenian family, and he grew up during the Peloponnesian War. His writings explored justice, beauty and equality, and also contained discussions in political philosophy, theology, cosmology, epistemology and the philosophy of language. platos “crito” depicts a conversation between Socrates and his wealthy friend Crito regarding justice for moral behaivor. Cicero-- Marcus Tullius Cicero lived in 103-42 BC. He is widely considered Rome's greatest orator and verse writer but he was also an influential statesman, successful lawyer and philosopher. In the “on duties” cicero outlines four cardinal virtues: wisdom, justice, courage and decorum. Cicero was killed in 43 BC as part of the proscription by Mark Anthony.
