Going into high school I wanted to try to figure out something that I wanted to do in my life so I would be one step ahead in college . This is hard for someone so young, but I knew I really liked doing stuff with computers and I was good at it. I liked to edit and create things using programs like Photoshop and InDesign. I took a class my freshman year to teach me how to use those programs more and also how to make the final product on an offset press. I liked this class so much and I was so good at it that I took more advanced classes the next three years and I knew I had accomplished my goal of trying to figure out what I would do in college. The class was called printing and publishing. Going into it I was a step a head of everyone because I had already been doing a lot of the same kinds of things on my own at home. My mom taught me a lot about the same programs we were using in this class because she uses them at her work. I still learned a lot in that class and I really enjoyed the printing part, which was all new to me. I never knew there were so many steps
