Family Services Baby Boutique provides free necessary items like clothing, diapers, and car seats for children of homeless families who are living in shelters or transitional housing. Baby Boutique depends on generous donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to keep it operating. More than 200 families have been served each month, and just last year, 1800 children received aid from this community resource. As a volunteer at Baby Boutique, I was in charge of organizing the income of donations. This community recourse believes that only the best donations should be allowed on the floor, so my role was considerably significant because if I put a stained article of clothing or a broken toy out, then I would not have been fulfilling Baby Boutique’s standards. Baby Boutique is similar to a retail store, so I was also able to help clients as sales associates would help shoppers. I believe this experience has enhanced my knowledge and learning of human
