Explain your thoughts on this matter --- should the U.S. Constitution be amended to specifically define a right to privacy or, do you feel that the holdings of the U.S. Supreme Court (and tell me which cases) are sufficient protection in this matter; why or why not? Is there perhaps a specific privacy right that you feel particularly strong about personally; explain. Make sure that you use specific examples and at least two resources to substantiate your opinion. I personally think that the 1 st , 3 rd , 4 th , 9 th , and 14 th amendments within The Constitution are sufficient enough. The 1 st Amendment, which also implies Privacy of Belief, states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”.
