Some will die in God’s friendship but with their souls not yet ready to be with God because of the need for final cleansing of venial sins . We will all die someday. Therefore, we need to think about the Four Last Things: Death, Judgment, Heaven and Hell. (CCC 1059, 1021-1029, 1038-1041) At death, our souls leave our bodies. After we die we will be judged individually, which is called the Particular Judgment. If we have loved God in this life, we will be ready to love God forever....
