One class that owns means of production One class that acts upon means of production Social relations of production true for all societies (EG Landowners/Surfs & Capitilist/workers) Mode of production: combination of means of prod. & social relations/relations of production Accumulated labor is dominant over living labor How production happens o Simple Reproduction Model: Constant capital (made up of fixed capital and circulating capital) and Variable capital engages in production & produces equal end of constant capital, variable capital and surplus capital. (C + V= C+ V+ S) 1 boss, 1 worker, cookie ingredients, cookie making machines, factory o Fixed capital: In cookie factory model it’s the mixer, oven, fridge, factory, etc. o Circulation Capital: ingredients, boxes, labels o Variable Capital: wages of laborers o Profit depends on S/(c+v). o
